Plato's Apology

I found Plato's apology to be a little hard to understand and a bit dragged on to get to the final conclusion where he dies. Though I will say I did really enjoy the confidence that socrates showed in the hearing. I believe he ultimately knew he would be sentenced to harsh punishment with the possibility of death in mind he decided to go out on his terms knowing he argued his viewpoints and changed the minds of some of the men in the justice system. That I would say was my favorite part of the whole reading. Admiring the fact that he knew death was most likely his fate and having the strength to go out on his terms.

  1. I feel like we shared simialar views on Socrates. I also liked his confidence about what he did, and how he knew it wasnt wrong. To me it was to long and wordy to and it took to long to get to the final decision of his fate.

  3. Good job, Michael. Just give me a little more of your voice and direct examples from the text. You are definitely on the right track.
