Phaedo
I found the Phaedo very interesting but at the same time it was a challenge to completely comprehend it all. At first I thought i wasnt going to be able to understand the main points of the story but the more I read the more it made sense. Socrates was fine with dying because he believed in his thoughts and what he had done. He thought that once his body left his soul he would be much more intelligent. Most people didn't want him to die and thought that he should fight back instead of being happy with death. I actually thought his beliefs mad sense. I felt like I understood why he thought the ways he did. Once i finished the reading I had a lot to think about.

I agree that this was very interesting. He is okay with dying because of his beliefs and because he knows the soul gains the ultimate knowledge when he dies. I like when Socrates says that a soul makes a body living because thats what I believe is that the soul makes people who they are. I thought it was funny Socrates was okay with dying but Phaedo was upset and didnt want Socrates to die.
