Reading post
The Communist Manifesto was one of the most interesting readings this semester in my opinion. Marx had many valid points throughout the text that really made sense to me! He was against taking advantage of lower class citizens like most governments continue to do today. He believed that the best way to reform the government was through revolution. Marx had many great ideas that could be very useful in the current government system.

I found this to be an easy read too compared to some in the past. Marx did make some very good points about social classes being taken advantage of by others. Our present day government should use some of Marx ideas.
ReplyDeleteI disagree- I feel like we are already doing too much with respect to redistribution of wealth. I do think that there are certain social programs and tax that are beneficial in a market economy, but I think that if we move much more toward that side, things will go downhill.
