Do we really know what virtue is? What is virtue? Is virtue the same for a man or a women, a slave or a child. Virtue is the topic of discussion between Meno and Socrates along with others. the conversation that is exchanged between the group on the topic is interesting to read. Through out the reading it made me think critically about what my response to virtue would have been.
In response to Meno's question, i would conducted it the same way Socrates had. For i do not know what virtue is but explain to Meno what my thoughts about it would be. Which is amazing because like Mrs.Jordan said Socrates told people when he didn't know about something. I feel many people need to do the same instead of trying to seem all knowing.
I agree that people need to worry about their own virtues and be considerate of others.
