This article was very hard to understand. At times I just
wanted to throw it down and stop reading it. It was very confusing and did not
make a lot of sense while reading. From what I understood from the article was
that this was ways to better our nation. By gaining wealth over other
countries. It listed many rules that today would be common sense. It that could
have been why I did not enjoy this reading this week because it was expected.
I also had a lot of trouble understanding what Smith was writing about most of the time. The only thing I really got out of it was about how supply and demand feed off of each other. Other than that I was lost.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad everyone else didn't understand it that well either. I think its important to know what the article was talking about so hopefully when we talk about it in class it won't be as bad.
ReplyDeleteI had the same problem with this piece of reading. I had to do some further researching around the web to fully understand what I was reading. I also went on different forums so i could see other people's point of view.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the reading was boring and hard to understand, and I also agree that many of the rules he laid out are definitely common sense in our modern world.
