The allegory of the cave
In book VII socrates explains the importance of education in peoples lives. Socrates believed education was very important for someone to get a whole view of the world. He listed the stages of education from the lowest form to the highest being understanding. He believed education is what made a person good. I think that the way he described education was beautiful! I agree that education does let you see the world without any impediments. I really like the allegory of the cave.
