Rejection
I thought this reading was interesting. I think its weird how there is a love triangle between all this men and its starts an argument. It doesn't help that the men in the reading are all drinking, because alcohol just makes everything ten times worse. I find it funny how in the end Socrates and one other guy aren't actually drunk even though they drank a lot of wine. Some of the things they talk about in the reading is a bit awkward, because it says some guy on guy stuff. Overall I liked it, its just sad how Socrates rejects Alcibiades a lot, seems like Socrates was a tease back in the day.

I agree that this was a very interesting piece to read and very akward at times. I also agree that Socrates may have been a tease but Alcibiades did crash that party trying to flirt with Agathon. So I think both men were just after their own wants and were both a tease in one way or the other.
