Leviathan
I really did enjoy reading Hobbes' view on the way people should act. Although they were written a long time ago, I feel that they are still up to date. When I was a chile my mom would always tell me "Do to others as you'd want to be done to you." That's almost exactly what Hobbes says. I enjoyed reading about human behavior, it really interest me. While I enjoyed the whole reading, I liked the 13th chapter the most. Competition is inevitable especially in our society, and the way Hobbes described it really just made me want to keep on reading.

I liked chapter 13 too because it was pretty much short and to the point. It wasn't too hard to understand. His points made sense, and like you said, are mostly still true today.
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it! Check out the rest of the Leviathan!
