I really enjoyed reading Phaedo I like how Socrates wasn't afraid of the fact that he was going to die. At the beginning of the article it was a conversation between Phaedo and Echecrates where Phaedo was explaining the how they would go and see Socrates every day before his death just to talk about things. Phaedo says that he did not feel any pity for Socrates before his death because he knew Socrates was as happy as he could be. Even right before his death instead of talking to as many people as possible he decided to write poetry to explain his thoughts on society.Which I found really interesting because I would want to talk to all my friends before I died not sit and write about philosophical questions.
