communist manifesto

This reading was really hard to understand, I had to re-read sentences 3- times to understand at one point but once I got the hang of it I kind of liked it. I like way he broke down the history of the social classes and today they are just as important. Even though in this day and age its not clear but now people that in the same social class appear to have the same political view

  1. I agree that social classes have definitely changed throughout the year. I also agree that your social class has a huge part to your political views.

  2. I agree that this was a hard reading but it was basically about a struggle b/w two classes a class that owns the means of production and one who does the labor. I thought it was interesting how Marx wrote out how to create a communist state. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public access. A heavy progressive tax or graduated tax...etc.
