Star Trek

I personally never watched Star Trek, nor do I know any of the real background behind it. However, I did enjoy reading this article, it made Star Trek seem more interesting then from what my dad had told me. I did not know that Star Trek was tried into the cold war and other political controvies during that time.

    I also didn't know star trek was that tied to the cold war and it was intresting to read.

    It was definitely easier to watch Star Trek after knowing that it was related to the Cold war which I think people know more about than Star Trek itself.

    I agree with Rachel, I think it was really helpful to read the article before seeing the movie because I was able to better pick up on some of the themes and how they related to the Cold War.
