The Traffic in Women
This was a very interesting reading. It gave many examples of men and women are compared to women and it pretty much states that women are inferior to men. In the reading it even goes to say that women "do not have full rights to themselves". And that in marriages, women are nothing more than a "gift". I do not think that those are actually the author's thoughts, but thoughout that writing she pretty much shows how the relationship between women and men have transformed.

Even though people have viewed women inferior to men in the past, I believe that as we progress in the future women will be just as equal to men. For example, African Americans were able to progress over time. Yes it took years and years to get to this point but as each year passes things get better in my opinion. I think the same type of thing applies to women, it will only take some time and people to really help move women further up then they already are.
